This internship lends the opportunity to apply bicycle concepts and mechanical theories learned during a hands-on approach to basic bicycle restoration. Through the KVIBE internship, you can build your skills to become proficient at bicycle construction and be open to bicycle metaphors that are applicable to everyday life. This position will introduce you to the many opportunities in the community and your involvement and contribution will impact that community.
Throughout the internship, you will receive the mentorship of our lead mechanics, our program managers, volunteers, community organizers, and the fertile support of Kokua Kalihi Valley Community Health Center. You will plant seeds of partnerships, water our shared visions and contributions, and bloom into young leaders with a team that will support you and your passions into future endeavors.
